The book is a guide how to, in a traditional way, use the raw material from the nature in order to manufacture an antlerknife.  For example; choose the antler, find and split curly grained wood. What tools to use and a step by step description how to plan and shape the handle. Also a description of how to dye the wood if you want to highlight the graining and how to do the finishing. Furthermoore a description how to make the sheath and how to sew the leather buckle and twine the belt loop.

Finally is a part about ornament and evaluation of quality and some references where material and tools can be purchased.
